EREN Brown Bag Lunch and Teaching Discussion – 12:00 – 1:15 PM, Wed Aug 8, meet outside poster exhibit hall, look for the EREN signs. Bring your lunch and a teaching idea based on an EREN project to share through informal conversation with your EREN colleagues. People new to EREN are welcome, so bring a friend!
INS 21 – Ecological Research as Education Network (EREN): Multi-site Collaborative Research in the Undergraduate Classroom – 8:00 – 9:30AM, Thu Aug 9, Room 243, New Orleans Convention Center. This Ignite session will provide an overview of EREN, highlight some of the EREN projects’ research protocols and paired curriculum, and emphasize the successes and challenges to achieving our goals for each. We will discuss a multi-project assessment of student learning outcomes and include ways new EREN members can participate in the current and proposed future projects. We will end with an open panel discussion.
